Mr Webb wanted to see some of the country ladles on the committee, and Mr Rees replied that they had; a Ladies' Committee last year, consisting of about five members.

It was resolved tliat Mi-s Townley be asked to convene a meeting of ladies to make arrangements for the supper. Mr Townley thought they should endeavor to have a children's evening on the following night. It worked very well m Napier, and should do so here. Mr Rees understood that Mr Cato expected a children's evening on the second night.

Mr Wildisln thought they should try and secure the hall for the second night and make a small charge. Mr Kennedy <ffid not think the children should be left out of it. They should have an evening for a little dance, with no adults on the floor, and make a small charge.

After further discussion as to the amount to be charged it was unanimously agreed to have a second night for the children. .
