SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.

The Union Company's s.s. Tarawera leaves Napier for Gisborne at 8 o'clock this evening, and arrives early to-morrow morning, sailing for Auckland at 8 a.m. The Huddart-Parker Company's s.s. Westralia arrives from Sydney and Auckland to-morrow afternoon and proceeds South in the evening. The barquentine River Hunter was berthed at the wharf this morniug. The U.S.S. Company's s.ls. Herald arrived from Auckland and East Coast ports at 9 o'clock last evening and proceeded to Napier. Gisborne passengers : — Inwards : Miss Milward ; Messrs Heeuy, Mildon and Wilson. The steamer leaves Napier this evening, arrives here to-morrow morning and' sails for Coast ports at 8 a.m. Messrs Richardson and Co.'s s.s. Fanny arrived from Napier early tliis morning, bringing a large cargo of timber, house blocks, posts, mouldings, and general sundries. The steamer returns this evening to Napier direct. The schooner Awanui arrived at Tairua from Gisborne on Saturday morning, and commenced loading timber for Gisborne yesterday.
