There was a large attendance of State and Federal members. About 2000 members of military corps took part. High caste Indians held a service afc their temple for the repose of the soul of the kte Sir Frederick Sargood. The ceremony was similar to that held at the time of the death of the Queen by the 'lndian, troops when iiv Melbourne.
