SHOCKING STORY OF TWO SISTERS. LONDON, Dec. 6. A shocking discovery was made at Church, new on Sunday "'living together fit ? V««» m ?» mcß street were two elderly maiden sisters, Alice and Catherine MoonSJ- Both had once been m fairly good/ ofocumstances, but were very reserved and - made no complaint of want of ' wean*. ' , Por a day or two nothing had been seen of them by the neighbors, and on Sunday night, the ordinary demands for sidmission meeting with no response, I lie door was forced. Lying m bed with everything about her m a sadly nt'gleol-cd .stute .was .the body of Alice, and m anothw room the other sister. CaMierine, was found extremely weak and m a demented condition. * She was unable to give uiiy account of her sinter's death or of her own feeble state. There is ; littlc doubt that the death of Alice was due to starvation, and had she been left m the house a few hours longer t Catherine would have shared her fate. There was no food or- coal m tlio place.
