(Per Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH. last night There were fair entries at Addingtoii market 'to-day. Fat cattle: 158 were yarded, but prices were a. shade easier. Steers brought £9 to £13 2s sd; heifers £5 to £9 10s; cows £5 17s' 6d to £9 10s ; beef 26s to 28s per lOOlbs. Fat alieep : There was an average yarding of fat sheej), which met with good demand, prices being about on a par with those of last week. The range of prices was as follows : Heavy weight wethers up t. 19s 7d ; prime freezers 17s bl to 19< 6'l: light weights 15s lOd to 17? .■ froez? 1 -,.' ewes 13s 8d to 18s; best ' utolievs "ives 15s 5d to 18s Id; othaj* 12s to "i 5« Fat lambs : Three thousand were yarded, the quality being better than has been the case during the past few weeks. Buyers for export further reduced their limit, and prices were correspondingly easier, a drop of about 6d per head being noticeable. Butchers' sorts brought 10s 3d to 15s 3d; freezers 12s 5d to 15s 6d. Pigs : There was a fair yarding. Baconers brought 40s to 55s 6d, equal to 5d lb: porkers 30s to 38s, equal to 5d to s£d ; stores up to 28s ; weaners 10s •tpl6s.
