MARRIED IN A LION'S CAGE.

NEW* YORK, Nov. 25. A novol entertainment was given at the St. Nicholas skating rink last night by the proprietox-s of a wild animal exhibition. In the centre of the rink was a large cage containing several of the biggest lions.- To gain a prize of 100 guineas a vouug couple were married m it. The ceremony was performed by Dr. Hepburn, an aged Episcopal clergyman, and the rink was packed with spectators. The bride. Miss Teresa Berg, a young German woman, was quite cool and collected, although fhe lions occasionally leaped about the cage and gave terrible roars. The bridegroom. Heiwy Horn, a Dane, displayed frequent signs of nervous trepidation and edged cautiously back wlwniever the lions came too close. The clergyman read the service without a tremor. During the ceremony the lion-tamer remained m the cage, aimed with two revolvers and a large Arhip. On leaving the cage the couple were heartily cheered.
