A length .uid aquiU'ter behind came a crew representing tilts Berlin Rowing Club, the best expon ents of the Continental quick stroke extant. The. race attracted numerous usilois from all parts of the world, iiml it is estimated that Cork benefited to the extent of at least £100,000.
