LONDON, June 21. His Majesty the King has been resting quietly at Windsor. He has postponed his visit to Eton. To-night a great ball was calncelled owing to the King of Saxony's death. The continuous rain is causing great discomfort. The Indian troops are camped at Hampton Court, and tiie . Maltese, Cypriotes, Malays, Chinese, Sikhs, Cingalese, Nigerian, and Rhodesian detachments axe camped at Alexandra Park. Their Majesties the King and Queen have arrived at Buckingham Palace. On Monday the Court observe three weeks' mourning for the King of Saxony, but it will be suspended during the Coronation festivities. (Received June 23, 8.44 a.m.) LONDON, June 22. Thlee thousand five hundred people were present at the Royal Colonial Institute conversazione, including Mr Chamberlain, Prince Phesi, the Sultan of Perak, Indian feudatory Princes, the Bishop of Melanesia, and the AgentsGeneral. Two thousand colonial forces at tne Alexandra Park engaged in a military tattoo. At the conclusion the troops were massed beneath the Royal Standard, and sang the Old Hundredth and National Anthem, thousands of spectators: joining The New Zealand troops and Maoris arrived by the Kiufauno Castle, and were present at the tattoo.
