THE ROTORUA PROGRAMME.

The Rotorua official programme is as follows : THURSDAY, JUNE 13. Their Royal Highnesses arrive at Rotorua railway station at 4.30 p.m". on Thursday. An address will be received from the assembled Natives on behalf of the Maoris of New Zealand. Distinguished chiefs and Maori warriors will form a guard of honor. Their Royal Highnesses will then proceed via Tutanekai and Hinemoa streets to the Grand Hotel (specially reserved for the Royal party), the whole ..route being lined with Maoris dressed m Native costume. Their Royal Highnesses will reply to addresses. 2. Evening: Dinner at 8 p.m. m. the Grand Hotel. 3. Illumination of township, and selections of music by Native and visiting, bands. FRIDAY, 14th. 4. Their Royal Highnesses will leave the Grand Hotel at 9.30 a.m. for Wfaakarewarewa, walk through the park and see the Maori carved house, and after seeing the geysers play, will drive on to Waiotapu by View Hill. Arrive at Waiotapu^ at 1 p.m. After lunch their Royal* Highnesses visit places- of •interest, returning by direct route" to Rotorua. 5. Evening : Dinner at Grand Hotel, 8 p.m. 6. Illumination of the township, and selection of music by Native and visiting bands. SATURDAY, JUNE 15. Their Royal Highnesses leave the Grand Hotel at 9.50 a.m., and drive direct to the racecourse, where they will witness a special Native demonstration and welcome according to ancient Maori custom. Decorations to Maori chiefs will be presented by their Royal Highnesses. Their Royal Highnesses then drive direct to Rotorua railway station, and leave the township at 12.30 p.m., arriving m Auckland about 7 p.m., and immediately embarking on the Ophir, which will sail for Wellington at 7.30 p.m. I THE FAREWELL SALUTE. A Royal salute will be fired by the station squadron and shore batteries as the Royal squadron steams out of the Harbor.
