AN AUSTRALIAN'S GROWL.
(Received March 88, 9.13 a.m.) SYDNEY, Feb. 18. Six members of the Australian Contingent m China returned invalided. One complains, of the harsh treatment he was subjected to because he growled at the arduous work, and that the officers were not treating the men properly. For their speaking disrespectfully to the officers they received ninety days' hard labor m Hongkong Gaol. He complains that he was dressed m convict garb and herded witih murderers and felons.
