Mapourika leaves Wellington this afternoon, and is due here on Wednesday morning. She sails for Auckland at 8 a.m. The Union Co.'s s.s. Waihora leaves Auckland to-morrow, and arrives here on Wednesday afternoon. She proceeds to Southern ports at 5 p.m. The schooner Aotea was at Tolago Bas on Friday last, but afterwards returned to Tokomaru. Th« Aotea evidently fell in with some of the heavy weather experienced on the coast during the week, as she is reported to have carried away her main booiu. The schooner is expected to arrive in Gisborne to-day or to-morrow. The scow Ngaru arrived from the Eaipara yesterday with a cargo of timber, to be ÜBed on the groyne extension works.
