LADYSMITH_SO FAR SAFE. BOERS SUFFERING TERRIBLY FROM LYDDITE SHELLS. (Received Nov. 4, 9.10 a.m.) Durban, Nov. 3. A fierce artillery duel ib raging at Ladysmith. 86 far the heavy guns of the naval brigade have saved the town. The Boers are suffering terribly from the effects of Lyddite shells.
