Messrs Richardson and Co.'s steamer Kalm arrived from Napier this niornin-!, bringing a quantity of material to lie used on the western groyne extension contract. The new steamer being built for Messrs Richardson and Co. in England for the East Coast trade is expected to leave for New Zealand about the end of May. She is to be named the Towa, and Captain Romerill, late of the Kalm, will bring her out.
