Westralia leaves Auckland to-morrow, and arrives here on Wednesday afternoon, sailing for Southern ports at .5 p.m. Messrs Nelson Bros. 'freezing hulk Prince of Wales arrived from Picton at eleven o'clock this morning, after a good Ji'ip from that port of 48 hours. The hulk is in charge of Ctipt. Cummings. The Shaw-Savill si earner Pakeha leaves here on Monday, Gth February, taking mutton from the Gisborne freezing works, and will take wool, tallow, and other cargo at the same time. The schooner Waiapu sailed on Saturday evening for Tokomnru, there to load wool for this port. The schooner Aotea also left for Auckland via coastal ports. Captain Felgate, of the s.s. Hawke's Bay, is to receive command of the new Tyser steamer Tomoana. The s.s. Letrim takes the Hawke's Bay's run to New Zealand, havina left London on January 11th. Captain Stuart, late of the Arawa and Tainui, receives command of the new Shaw-Savill boat Waiwera. Captain Scotland is superintending the building of the new s.s. Kumara, and is to have command of her. The Northern Union Steamship Company, of Auckland, are ordering another Bteamer similar to their new s.s. Aotea. The Newcastle correspondent of the Daily Commercial News, Sydney, quotes the follow ing freights for New Zealand ports :— Auckland Ss 6d, Wellington !K Bluff 9s 3d, Napier 12s, Gisbmnp Ilk Wanganui 15s, Timarn 15s, Dunedin 10s, Picton 10s, New Plymouth los, and Nelson 10s.
