Wkllingto.y, to-day. A conference of New Zealand Racing Clubs agreed to remove Poverty Bay from the Auckland Metropolitan district and place it under Hawke's Bay. Marlborough is to be attached to Canterbury, and Hokitika remains under Canterbury. Either Westland or Nelson are to lie deprived of Metropolitan functions, and the country clubs interested, viz., Reefton, Kumara, and Westport, are to decide by vote within a month which should be thenMetropolitan Club.
