RAM SALE.
G. R. Wyi.UC reports that lie held a most successful sale of rams on behalf of Mr J. E. Kspie at his homestead, Newstead, yesterday, when the attendance of farmers was Urge and competition extremely spirited, buyers well knowing the splendid quality and fine breeding of Air Espies rums. The highest price realised was 13 guineas, which was for a lino wcll-woolled two-tooth stud Lincoln. All lots offered under the hammer were sold, with a few exceptions, and the most of those were placed privately at satisfactory prices. Prices ruled from two guineas to fifteen guineas, the majority bringing from five to six guineas each. Mr Wyllic also reports that he held his usual monthly =ale of stock at Mr Espies, where he yarded about. 1000 sheep, and cleared nearly all lines under the hammer a t satisfactory figures.
