Welt.ixotos, to-day. Informations have been laid under the Shipping and Seamen's Act against Captain Allman, Nautical Adviser to the Government find Chief Examiner, Captain Von Schncn, teacher of navigation, and Captain Jones, master of tiie harbor steamer Duchess. Section 32 of the Act, under which the informations are laid, makes the proooring, or assisting to procure, or fraudulently altering a certificate, a misdemeanor. The cases will be heard on the 24th inst. Apart from the Court proceedings, a Bcpartment.il enquiry is to be made. It is stated that one of the accused threatens serious revelations in certain eventualities.
