THE DREYFUS DRAMA.
(Electric Telograph-Copyrinht— United Press Association.) Pakis, Jan. 13. M. Beaurepairo has appealed to the Chamber of Deputies to remove the Dreyfus enquiry from the control of the Criminal Chamber of the Court of Cassation. After a stormy debate the Chamber voted confidence in the Government, and by implication in the Court of Cassation, by a three to one majority. 51. Lebret, one of the members of the Court, denied that special favors were being shown to Colonel Picquart. i\l. Dupuy, in a dignified speech, appealed to the Chamber to respect law and liberty. The general opinion is that M. Beaurepaire's agitation has failed.
