SENSATIONAL DUEL.
• (Electric Telegraph— Copyright— United Press Association.) Received Jan. 13, 9.10 a.m.) Berlin, Jan. 12. A sensational duel has taken place at Metz. Some German military officers jostled a civilian named Tillman. The latter resisted with a stick, and afterwards boasted that he had thrashed the officers. The Court of Honor compelled the senior officer involved to fight a duel at ten paces; The officer shot Tillman through the heatt.
