CHARITABLE AID BOARD.
Thk ordinary meeting of the Charitable Aid Board was held at the close of the Borough Council meeting last evening, the same members being present. The Treasurer reported that the debit balance after payment of last month's accounts amounted to £&)$ V2s Nil. The receipts during the month amounted to £-2i<) *)s 1 Id, which left the hank overdraft at £1S (is KtL The accounts for payment that evening amounted to £139 3s Id, in which wan included the sum of £100 to the Hospital Trustees, making the overdraft to date £180 0* lOd. The number of inmates at present in the Home was four. Two had been discharged during the month, and two deaths had occurred. Messrs Johnston and Kennedy were appointed a Visiting Committee for the present month.
