ARREST OF A STEAMER.

Ax incident occurred in Cork Harbor ou December 18th which was quite unpiecedeuted, and created the wildest excitement amongst the shipping community whilst it lasted. The Briardcuc being the fatter of the two soon got a long lead, and continued to widen the gap between herself and the launch. Crowds on the wharves at QiiL-cn-jlown watched the chase, but it soon became evident that the launch was beaten.
