SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
♦ The Union Co.'s s.s. Flora (Captain Fleming) made a good run from Auckland yesterday, the voyage being accomplished in 24 hours. The steamer left Auckland at a quarter to 5 o'clock on Saturday afternoon, and arrived about the same time yesterday. Passengers — Inward: Mesdames Garrett, Spriggs, Ewen, Scott, Townley, Bloomfield, and Lewis and two children ; Misses Henzler, Large, and Price ; Messrs Diver, Liddle, Kern, West, Hart, Gaudin, DeCosta, Garrett, Nasmith (2), Bloomfield, Burch, Spriggs, Finn (2), Swanson, Shelton, Beaver, Buchanan, Ewen, Martin, Meeman, MeHugh, James, Ifwerson and son, Hansen, Swanson, and Harrison. Uutward : Mesdames Muir and two children, Bird, and Witty ; Misses Barr, Faram (2), Rice, and Chapman ; Messrs Webb, Kohere, Simeon, Lind (2), Poihipi, Penihakiwai, Dods, Humphreys, Kohere, Witty, Dick, Adair, Thompson, Jarratt, OHivier, Windus, Keefe, Alorse, Muir, Lamb, and Evans. The Union Co.'s s.s. Te Anau leaves Wellington to-day, and is due here on Wednesday morning, leaving for Auckland at 8 a.m. The Huddart-Parker Co.'s s.s. Elingamite leaves .Auckland to-morrow, and arrives here on Wednesday afternoon, leaving for Southern ports at 5 p.m. The barque Akaroa is making good headway in her loading for London. During the past week she received on board over 1600 bales of wool, which we understand is a record for this port. The schooner Waiapu is alongside the barque to-day transhipping 400 bales from the coast. It is expected the Akaroa will complete her loading about the end of the present month. The schooner Waiapu (Captain Martin) arrived from Tolago Bay yesterday with a cargo of wool for transhipment into the barque Akaroa. The auxiliary sclfooner Aotea will leave Auckland for coast ports and Gisborne this evening.
