Colonel Saumartin, Spanish ex-com-mandant of the town of l'onee, in Puerto Rico, has been sentenced to imprisonment for life for surrendering to the Americans during the late war. At the time of the surrender it was reported that Colonel Saumartin was court-martialled and ordered to be shot. CAPETOWN, Jax. 7.
