Calcutta, Oct. 29. General Lockbart's expedition lias assembled at Fort Sempagha Pass and commences to advance against the enemy to-day. Sir William Lockhart has captured Sampagha Pass. General A. Gaselle, C.8., led the • advance. The enemy made a poor stand, and the artillery proved most 'effective in clearing the ranges. Captain F. R. McCrea De Butts, of the Royal Artillery, in charge of the native mountain artillery, was amongst the killed. Sir W. I,ockhart'B force has hailed in the Mistura Valley,
