Notts scored 2C9, tho other principu scorers being : Attewell 24, W tight 16 Dixon 28, Pike (nob out) 41, Guttoridge 16 Barnett 17Giffen secured four wickets for 92 Trumble three for 69, Eady one for 34. The batting of the country men wai excellent all round. Shrewsbury and Jone put on 52 for the first wicket, Jones am Gunn 50 for the sreond. Pike and Beunet gave a lot of trouble at tho finish, increasinj the score by 36 before the last wicket fell. June 26. — The weather to-day was fine and tho wicket was in good condition. Th Australiana have lost five wicketa for 190 Darling 44 and Graham 96 are the highes scorers.
