The ballot at Newcastle as to the accfiptance or otherwise of ihe proposals of the Conference with regard to tbe reduction of the hewing rate resulted as follows :-For acceptance, 253; against, 454. , "For rheumatism I have found nothing i equal to Chamberlains Paiu Balm.
