THE RISING IN RHODESIA.

Capetown, June 24. The friendly natives, with the loss of ten of their number, defeated the Matabeles at the Mazinini river, and captured their cattle and sheep. Fifty volunteers with a machine gun prevented the natives at Fort Victoria joining the rebels. The Madoe convoy occupied a kopje, which the enemy surrounded.
