The Dunedin Jockey Clab has purchased a property for a new racecourse immediately opposite and close to the Wingatui railway station. .It contains 135 acres. The oourse will be a mile and a quarter in ciroumferenca and a chain and a half wide, with two straights of a quarter of a mile each.
