Sydney, June 17.^j At a meeting of coal owners the miners' demand that there should be an increase in the selling price for coal nud also un increased hewing rate were discussed, but the decision will not be divulged until tho minors' dolcgatoa have had an opportunity of considering it. It is understood, however, that there is not the slightest chunce of the demand or v further conference being granted, but probably tho men will be allowed to return to work on the terms ruling before the Btrike, though no promise will be given as to what reductions may be enforced in future.
