IN PURSUANCE of the Joint Standing Orders relative to Local Bills, notice is hereby given that the Gisborne Harbour Board will, during tho ensuing session of Parliament, cause to be introduced, a Bill intitulsd "An Act to amend ' The Gisborne Harbour Acb 1884; ' and the amendments thereof." The objects of such Bill are to empower the Public Trustee to pay a sum of fifteen thousaud pounds out of loan moneys now vested in him to the Gisborne Harbour Board. Also to empower the Gisborne Harbour Board to expend thereof a cum of ten thousand pounds in repairing and keeping in repair the works already constructed by the said Board. And also to further empower the said Board to expend the balance of five thousand pounds in repairing and extending tho western groin of such works, being works heretofore duly authorised. A copy of the Bill has been deposited this day in tho Magistrate's Court at Gisborne, and is there open to public inspection. Dated this sixth day of June 1896. HUGH J.
