COLONIAL BANE LIQUIDATION.
Dunedin, to-day. The affidavit of William Brown haa been filed in the Supreme Court. He desires an inspection of all the books of the Colonial Bank, with the object, of making a better offer for the assets than Messrs Smith and tie id have made. The Star has good authority for stating that the directers of the Colonial Bunk, should the necessity for doing so arise, will give an explanation of the administration of the affairs of that instatution.
