CRICKET.
« AUSTRALIANS 7M.C.C. AND GROUND London, June 11. The match M.C.C. and ground versus Australians began at Lords to-day. The English eleven are :— W. G. Grace, Jackson, Marchant, Pougher, Attewell, J. Hearne, Davidson, Stoddart, Macgregor, Rangitsinghi, and Gunn. Doanan, Jones, and Johns are standing out of the colonial team. There is fine weather, but the wicket is rather heavy from the recent rain. The attendance of the public is very good. The home team batted first. The score at present stands : — Grace, b Trumble, 15 ; Rangitsinghi, b Trumble, 7 j-JStoddart, stpd Kelly b Trott, 54 ; Jackson, not out, 37 ; total for three wickets, 137. Later. — The home team were disposed of in their first innings for 219. The Australians are all out for eighteen runs. [This last telegram is given as received.] ,
