Denials are published of the repotas^u Russo-Turkish agreement. , «K^ The Standard's Constantinople correspom? cnb confirms his first statement, and adds that the Sultan sent his famous jewels and presents, worth £35,000, to the Czar. The Times' Vienna correspondent wires that it is reported that the Sultan of Turkey proposes to lavishly decorate the Russian and French diplomatists. Constantinople, Jan. 26. The Sultan denies an agreement with Russia. Vienna, Jan. 26. The Free Press says Europe cannot permit any single Power to direct the destinies of Turkey. Washington, Jan. 25. The Senate has adopted the report of the committee respecting the difficulty in Armenia.
