Press Association— Electric Telegrai-h-Copyrigh SYDNEY. Jan. 26. Steady rain fell throughout yesterday and to-day, almost the whole of the interior participating in it. At many places the change was preceded by a violent storm, which did considerable damage to property. Jan. 27. — The delegates who recently arrived from the Cape 'left by tho Mararoa on a visit to New Zealand. Prior to the change in the weather, eight more deaths were reported from Bourko. Obituary : Angus Cameron, M.L.A. for Waverley. He died of heat apoplexy. The weather is threatening for to-day's holiday. BRISBANE, Jan. 27. Mr Reeves has abandoned his intention of going Home by the British-India route, and returns to Adelaide, where he jojds the s,s Ville do Tacoita, leaving on February Ist. • HOB ART, Jan. 23. The Squadron has completed the evolutions in Norfolk Bay aud has returned here. The flagship with a couple of attending vessels visits New Zealand.
