IT is hereby notified that this Board, at a Meeting to be held on SATURDAY, Ist February, 1896, will proceed to confirm, by Special Order, the following resolution : — Resolved : " That a Special Rate of Three-eighths of One Penny in* the £ be struck on all ratable properties within the Pouawa West Special District (as defined in Schedule), for the purpose of securing the payment of interest on an additional Bum of £40, being ten per cent, on the original loan of £400, the proposal for which was agreed to by a Poll of Ratepayers, taken on the 10th October, 1894 ; the said additional loan being necessary to complete the public works specified in original proposal. This Special Rate to be a recurring rate, for a period of 26 years, from the Ist April, 1896, to 31st March, 1922, to be due and payable in two equal instalments, on the Ist June and Ist December in each year.
