The conference of delegates from the fire insurance companies doing business in the colony, with the object of removing anomalies which have cropped up in the application of the new fire insurance tariff, has been arranged t to take place at the Government Insurance. The premiums, he Mid bid been considerably increased, but * -owing to the extreme caution exercised the 'income had only slightly decreased. The .report and balance-sheet were adopted.
