Monson, who was acquitted on a charge of shooting Lieutenant Hambrough, has been charged with perjury under the name of Wyville. • The charge is the outcome of the burning of Monson's house at Douglas, in connection with which he made a claim of £500 from the Royal Insurance Co. for jewellery destroyed. ROME, Jan. 20. The Due d'Orleans, while out hunting, was thrown from his horse, sustaining a fracture of the shoulder and ankle.
