The Bean Case.
Weujngktos, to-day. The motion- of leave to appeal in the case Regina v. Minnie Dean, was argued at the Appeal Court to-day, all the , five judges being present. : Dr Findlay appeared in support of the motion, and Mr McDonald, Crown Prosecutor, Invercargill, and Mr Gully, Crown Prosecutor, Wellington, for the Crown. Dr Findlay, in opening the eaße, stated that he was unable to support the first ground of motion. He could not contend -that the evidence as to the infant Hornsby, had been improperly, admitted. He would that the evidence- as -to the other -infants, - and the finding of a skeleton at the Lurches had been improperly admitted. • •..'• .<>s Argument is proceeding.
