HAWKE'S BAY JOCKEY CLUB'S WINTER MEETING.
The following weights have been declared by Mr Henry for the Hawke's Bay Steeplechase meeting :— Hurdle Race, 3 miles : Liberator 13 0 Ebor and Couranto 126, Melinite 12-4, Kapua 11-12, Tiritea 1111, Busaco 11-9, Mutiny 11 1, Somnambulist 11 0, Revolt 10*9, Hopeful and Auroa 108, Langley the Devil 913, St. Anthony 9*12, Revolution and King John 9'll, Dromedary 97, Narrate 9-4, Waterlily 9*2, Barman, First Sight, and Mirau9-0. Hawke's Bay Steeplechase, three miles and a-half: Liberator 1212, Norton 12 9, Busaco and Roscius 12-2, Couranto and Tiritea ll'll, Ebor 11 5, Mutiny 112, Kapua 10*13, Morag 1010, Bombardier 10-9, Booties 10-7, Austral 10-4, Strephon 10 3, Hopeful and Auroa 10 2, Langley the Devil 9 13f Dromedary 911, Unity 98, Awarua, T Rose, Waterlily, and Beanly 9 # 7. Orton, the Tichborne claimant, in his further confession, states that as each step advanced it helped others." Lady Tichborne and the members of the family, in testing his memory, supplied himself with the foundation for his claim to the. estates.
