A CANNIBAL FEAST. Svdsey, Nov. 12. — News from the New Hebrides report* thai a volcano ou Ambry m Island burst into eruption, and the lava set tire to the native huts. Some native were killed, but it is believed the fatalities are not heavy. The embers fell for a radios of ten miles. Toe natives at Pentecost and Tanna are killing each ottier as fast as an opportunity occurs. One village in Pentecost revolted affsinst the cbi«f, killed him aad his household, than attacked a neighbouring village, slaughtered half the community, and ate a o amber of victims. At Santo several natives, wbo had got fit on plantations in Fiji, were killed and eaten within a week of tbeir return borne.
