The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Oreti (Captain Dawson) leaves Auckland at 5 to-morrow evening and arrives here via Coast ports on Friday evening, proceeding en to Napier and Wellington at 7 p.m. The U.S.S. Co.'s a.s. Australia (Captain Gibbs) leaves Wellington this afternoon, and is due here via Napier at daylight on Friday morning. She proceeds on to Coast ports and Auckland at 8 a.m. The U.S.S. Co.'s s.s. Tarawera leaves Auckland at noon on Thursday and is expected to arrive here at 1 p.m. on Friday. She proceeds on to Southern ports and Melbourne at 4 p.m. The U.S.S. Te Anau (Capt. Cameron) is the next boat to arrive from Melbourne via South, being due here on Sunday morning. She sails for Auckland and Sydney at 8 a.m. The schooner Awanui (Capt. Skinner) left Auckland last Saturday for Gisborne and Coastal ports with a general cargo. The schooner Norval is loading maize for Wellington, and from thence she proceeds to the Grey to load coal for Clayton and Co. The schooner Waiwera (Captain Pankow) sails this evening in ballast for Napier, where she loads potatoes for Whangarei. The brigantine Aratapu has discharged her coal, and took in ballast this afternoon. She will probably get away for Auckland this evening. While lying in the roadstead at Napier on Sunday week the Shaw, Savill and Albion Company's ship Wellington had to put to sea with the loss of her cables and anchors. She had taken in a cargo of wool, tallow, and frozen meat, and was only waiting for about 200 tons of coal before leaving for London. Up to Saturday last the vessel had not put in an appearance again. Orders have been received for her to proceed to Wellington to get her coal.
