A SAD FATALITY.
DROWNING OF AN INFANT. Wellington, to-day. A sad fatality occurred at Kairanga, Manawatu, on Friday. A girl of five years and a lioy of two, the latter the son of Mr Uurmester, were playing on the I road, when the boy fell into a ditch, and was drowned before assistance arrived, all efforts to resuscitate the body proving fruitless.
