SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
— ♦ The U.S.S. Co.'s Australia from Auckland and Coast ports after a very rough passage arrived here at midnight, bringing :—Misses Davidson and Donaghue ; Messrs Wright, McL-mghlan and Bible. She went on South at one to-day, taning -. — Messrs Drysden, Mullens and Hewatt. The U.S.S. Co.'s Southern Cross arrived from Wellington and Napier early this morning, bringing :—Mrs Fraser ; Messrs Willcocks, Snowden, Forsyth; and Capt. Miller. She went on to Coast and Auckland at 9.50, with no passengers. The U.S.S. Co.'s Rotomahana, 1727 tons, (Capt. Carey), arrived in the Bay from Auckland and Sydney at eleven this morning after a fast passage of 22,-V hours from the former port, with tlie following pass.ngers : — Mrs Joyce ; Misses Larsen and McAsher ; Messrs McCaw and Colley. She goes on to Southern portsand Melbourne. The last launch leaves the shore at 4 p.m., with :-Mesdames McAra, Austin, Elleston and child ; Messrs Langford, Woon, Greene, Huing-i, Rongoinan, and Rev. McAra ; and 23 natives. The s.s. Te Anau has been detained at Lyttelton, and leaves there this evening. She will therefore not leave here till Suuday evening or Monday morning.
