SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The 8.8. Southern Cross went on South at 8.45 p.m., taking : — Mr ami Mrs Hanks and five children, and Mr and Mis McLeod. The U.S.S. Co.'s Australia arrived here from Wellington and Napier early this morning, bringing :— Messrs Wilson, Oibbs, Roe, Malcom, Chamberlain, Thayer and wife and family ((>), Towers, Harris, Grippie, Lister, MoLeod and Dowling She went on to Coast and Auckland at 7.43 a. m, taking: — Mr Gainsford. The U.S.S. Co.'ss.s. Wainrapa, 1786 tons, (Capt. Chatrield), arrived in the Bay from Aucklandand RusseHnt 1 p.m. to-day, with: — Mhs Ross ; Mr and Mrs Hutchinson ; and Mr Marcroft. She goes on to Southern ports and Melbourne. The last launch leaves the shore at 5 p.m. Tha s.s. Tarawera arrives here from Melbourne and South on Monday morning. She afterwards goes on to Auckland and Sydney. Lust launch leaves at 7 a.m.
