[Per Pkkss Association. SYDNKY. April 30. The half-yearly meeting of the shareholders of the Bank of New South Wales was held to-day when a dividend of iiftcen per cent and a bonus of two and a Ir.ilf per cent pur annum was delared. £10,0C3 was added to the reserve fund, which now reaches £930,000. A daring burglary was committed at Sim mat's jeweller's shop, and £3,000 worth of jewellery was removed. MELBOURNE, May 1. A notorious criminal name.l Wallace has been arrested with a complete plant for coining money in his possession. Rabbits have become numerous in the north west districts, and immediate measures will be taken by the Government for their suppression. It is feared the next wheat crop will be destroyed.
