SHIPPING INTELLIGENCE.
The s.a. Ohau, (Capt. Bernech), arrived this morning from Dunedin, Oamaru, Timaru and Nipi-r, bringing :— Mr Hill. She went on to Taiu-auga and Auckland, taking :— Mr Herbert and 2 native*. The s.s. Australi ■ ' M "-s Auckland for this port this evening. The s.a. Maitai leaves Wellington this afternoon for Gisborne. The s.s. Wairarapa left Sydney at 5 p.m. on Friday. Tho Orient Co. 's s.s. Orient leaving Melbourne next week is a full ship. An immense number of passengers are taken each trip by these boats, which are invariably full.
