The U.S.S. Co.'s Australia, 439 tons, (Capt. Komp), arrived in tin !'v from Wellington and Napier early this m :. :.ing, bringing : — MrMiillins, Mr Berrell and family (0), Mr Dodd (ex Aorangi) ; Messrs Douthwsvite, Hcnnessy, Hepburn, Parker, W. Cooper, Fordhain, J. S. Cooper, J. C. Field, Riggiards, Holmes, Hepburn, Ready, Olding, Harrison, Robinson and* Tarr ; Miss Forbes. She goes this evening on to Coast ports and Auckland, taking : — Misses Bidgood and SchulU ; Mcsdumca Pierce and Neilson and child ; Mr Malavery ; four Maoris. The U.S.S. Maitai, 275 tons, (Capt. Dawson), arrived in the Bay from Auckland and Coast ports early this morning, bringing : — Messrs Duncan, Nazer and McDonald. She goes on to Napier and Wellington this afternoon at 1, taking :— Mrs Cross and four children ; (> natives ; 4 prisoners. The U.S.S. Co.'s Te Anau, 1652 tons, (Capt. Kennedy), arrived in tho Bay from Sydney and Auckland at 2 p.m. to-day, with :— Messrs Large, Porter, Green, Walsh, Johnston, Tolding, Deed, Crawford, ('apt. Strand, Mellsop, Craig and Danka : Misses Poster and Saddler ; Mesdame? Foster and child, Davis and child, Colebrook and Dunks. She goes on to Southern Ports and Melbourne at 5 p.m., taking:— Messrs Karaitiaua, Hutchinson, Donald, Miller, Barnon, Duncan, Von Stunner, Skerry, Weber, Marshall, Hill, Kewley, A. Barnard, Nupier Rowing crew (5) ; Constable Dunn ;14 natives. Thes.s. Omapere from Dunedin, Oamaru, and Timaru via Napier arrives here a day earlier than was expected — on Sunday. She will go on to Auckland direct.
