DISTRESS AMONGST FARMERS.
In order to remedy the distress which at present exists among the agricultural classes the New South Wales Premier has decided to agree to the proposal to grant seed wheat to those fanners whoso circumstances are such that they are not ablo to obtain it for themselves. The matter will be dealt with by the Cabinet, and the conditions on which the grautt will be made will then be drawn up. It it probable that wheat will be advanced on the stipulation that the persons who receive it shall eventually pay for it, upon certain terms to be settled by the Cabinet.
