BEFORE HIS HONOR MR JUSTICE RICHMOND.] KEfJINA V. MOSSMAN. This morning was fixed for hearing the sheep-stealing case Regina v. A r . J. Mossman. Mr Gully (for the Crown) applied for in Adjournment, however, on the ground that Mr Campbell Thomson, a material witness, was unable to attend owing to severe ilness. Dr Pollen gave evidence to that effect. His Honor said the Chief Justice had intimated he would bike the case in April if accused assented to the adjournment, and the ease was set down for Monday week. Jurors in waiting were discharged for the present Circuit Court-. The sittings were adjourned to Monday week, April Bth, at 10.30 a.m.
