Auckland, to-day. The a.s. Tarawera arrived from Gisborne at 1 p. in yesterday. Pout Chalmers, to-day. Tho Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co.'s h.s. Arawa arrived from Plymouth via Capetown and Hobart at 3.30 a.m. Miss Bate?, a third class paasonger, died on July 20th. Mr Moffat, laic chief officer, is not now with the Arawa, he having received the appointment of captain to ono of the Company's Bhips. Tho Arawa brings 349 passengers, — 24 salooD, 27 Becond cabin, and 298 steerage (including 200 immigrants).
